Installation and Performance work
After three years of intensive training in Clown and Fool performance, I’m now curating, compering and performing comedy cabaret style events, to introduce the world of idiot within community gatherings.
Compered by Sheshayman (the showgirl shaman), ‘The Lady Doctors’ are my curated community of artist performers- sharing an ideology of humour and idiocy as both medicine and community builder. In addition to diverse performances (mostly queer and female led acts) various visual artists and members of the local community are also invited to present individually curated ‘stall’s’ together at these events- to engage audiences humorously during performance intervals.
Audiences are also encouraged to step into the world of clown themselves, via workshops accompanying the events.
