The Lady Doctors.
I often perform the same clown material in theatre venues, art galleries and elsewhere, sometimes also bringing together the various world's I inhabit within my local community.
I curate and invite my clown, art-world and local communities to collaborate together in comedy caberet type events.
Compered by Sheshayman (an idiotic showgirl shaman and dreadful magician), Lady Doctor acts all share an ideology of humour and idiocy as medicine and community builder.
In addition to performances, visual artists and members of the local community are also invited to present individually curated ‘stall’s’ at these events- engaging audiences humorously during the interval.
Audiences are encouraged to step into the world of clown themselves, via workshops accompanying the events.
