Over the past year, With my Arts Council (Develop Your Creative Practice) grant, I've been training in clown, fool and comedy - integrating this within my practice.

I'm currently developing ‘Laughter’ and other clowns arising originally from painted narratives - exploring aspects of trauma, co-dependency, individuation and activism. She was first mentioned in 1000 Foundlings, when the Foundlings adopted 'Laughter as their mother'.

She's a Me Too clown - a six breasted, singing, human milk fountain with Dolly Parton’s generosity of spirit. One drop of her milk will send you into a blissful baby slumber. Those inclined to grab her bare breasts are prevented by a protective, nourishing force field, which performs rather like a more potent version of her milk.
